NHSSV is California’s first and only non-profit corporation approved as a direct lender by the California Housing Finance Agency! We are also a direct lender for Neighborhood Housing Services of America (NHSA). Through CalHFA and NHSA, low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers can purchase their homes utilizing lending products that respond to their needs. As a licensed mortgage broker, NHSSV also originates and processes "conventional" first mortgage loans in cooperation with partner banks.
NHSSV believes in secure and appropriate financing for its homebuyers. It originates only thirty-year fixed-rate loans.
- NHSSV loan agents are experts in CalHFA's and NHSA’s mortgage products.

- Through NHSSV's loan products, you can avoid the dangers of adjustable-rate and interest-only loans.
- Many of the loans available through NHSSV are partially or fully deferred. Fully deferred loans require no payments until you sell the home.
